Euro stuttering along

By Ricky Bean November 12th, 2014

It was another relatively flat day for the euro yesterday, with very few data releases, as well as state holidays in a number of European countries. The small movements we did see were against the dollar, as the understated gains from Monday were pegged back.

The week’s first data releases of any consequence are out today, with industrial production figures for the bloc out at 10 am and expectations of an improvement from the previous month. Much of the euro’s positions will be determined by releases elsewhere, with influential events in both the UK and the US having the potential to affect euro performance.
