Can the Japanese Yen recoup last week’s losses?

By Ricky Bean September 14th, 2015

After steadily dropping off against the US dollar last week, the Japanese Yen looks set for another busy week ahead. The focus will largely be on Tuesday, where the Bank of Japan have scheduled a press conference alongside the release of its latest Monetary Policy statement.

The Swiss Franc is also set for an eventful week. This morning Producer Price Index (PPI) is released, expected to drop down to -0.4% from August. However, the centre of activity will lie on Thursday, when the Swiss National Bank release their quarterly statement on interest rates.
