Boomerang effect for Australian dollar

By Ricky Bean October 2nd, 2015

After a quarter that saw the Australian dollar suffer, October has started a little brighter for the currency as it gained nearly 1% against the US dollar in its first day. The Australian economy will be hoping for a real boomerang effect now as they look to snap back from 9% loss in the 3rd quarter.

In fact, the Australian currency wasn’t the only one to have a comeback as other commodity currencies had small fightbacks today, including Australia’s Oceanic cousins, as well as the Canadian dollar.
